The OPPO A76 features a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1612 pixel resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, a tiny camera cutout on the upper left corner, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.9%. Typical of phones of its class, it instead comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner rather than an under-display sensor. This mid-range model does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, though. Under its hood is the aforementioned Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and features support for OPPO’s RAM expansion tool. It’s also worth noting that the A76 only supports up to 4G connectivity, so you might have to look elsewhere if you’re hoping for an affordable 5G compatible handset. Meanwhile, powering the new OPPO mid-range phone is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging capability. According to the brand, a 5-minute charge is enough to allow it to make phone calls of over 3.5 hours. Imaging-wise, featured on the back of the OPPO A76 is a dual camera setup which consists of a 13MP f/2.2 main sensor and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera. Lastly, housed within its display’s punch-hole cutout is an 8MP front-facing camera for your selfie and video call needs. The all-new OPPO A76 is slated to be sold in Malaysia starting tomorrow on 19 February 2022, though keep in mind that first orders will soon be available later at midnight via the brand’s official online store. The phone is priced at RM 899 and is offered in two colour options: Glowing Blue and Glowing Black.  (Source: OPPO Malaysia press release)
