Ok, fine. Almost none of that is true. However, in conjunction with Spider-Man: Far From Home which is about to swing into Malaysian theatres tonight, web-slingers have been spotted in various spots around Kuala Lumpur greeting citizens and taking pictures with them. So, if you’re walking around the streets of KL over the next couple of days or even taking the LRT/MRT, there’s a chance you might bump into them.

Spider-Man even dropped by the Lowyat office. Apparently, our office contained vital information regarding the whereabouts of someone working with The Elementals.

This is similar to the marketing effort that took place over the weekend where GrabFood, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment Malaysia deployed 833 Grab Riders wearing special Spider-Man T-shirts, all around the Klang Valley. Spider-Man: Far From Home synopsis: Peter Parker goes on a school trip to Europe with his classmates. While abroad, Nick Fury recruits him for a mission that requires him to join forces with Quentin Beck a.k.a. Mysterio, a master of trickery and illusion who claims to be from a parallel Earth in the Multiverse. Together they will battle extradimensional humanoids known as the Elementals.
