Logitech Malaysia has announced that the G604 will be available on our shores in October. Unfortunately, that’s all the company divulged, so it could be anywhere from the start to the end of the month before you start seeing the mouse on shelves. ORIGINAL STORY (17 September / 9:55 AM): Logitech has announced a new gaming mouse, called the G604. From the looks of it, it’s likely that the mouse was made with the MMO crowd in mind. This is because its defining feature is quite like that of the Razer Naga series. Specifically, the Logitech G604 comes with six buttons on its left side. In fact, there are plenty controls at your disposal. The total count goes up to 15, as you have two buttons at the side of the left click, two more behind the mouse wheel, and the wheel itself can be tilted left and right. The G604 is also a wireless mouse, with two connection modes. It makes use of Logetech’s own Lightspeed, as well as the standard Bluetooth connectivity. It’s powered by an AA battery, which the company claims gives it 10 days of life using Lightspeed connection, and up to five-and-a-half months on Bluetooth. The Logitech G604 is priced at RM399. Despite local pricing details already available, the mouse will only be available in fall, which starts on 23 September. (Source: Logitech [1], [2] via Engadget)
